Very similar to Minnesota, Purdue had a rough start to their week getting blown out by a very good Michigan State team 77-59, then rebounding to defeat Wisconsin 84-80 in double overtime. Both of their week 10 games were on the road and going 1-1 with trips to Michigan State and Wisconsin is a very difficult thing to do.

Ask the Ohio State Buckeyes who lost both of their road games in week 10. Purdue has been shaky all season, but they seem to be coming into their own as Big Ten play progresses.

Coming off of a tough close loss to the Spartans in week 9, the Buckeyes were hopeful that competing with the best of the Big Ten meant that they should continue beating up on the lower tier teams in the conference. That idea came to an abrupt halt in week 10 when Ohio State suffered a road loss to Rutgers and then another to Iowa.

In neither of the games did the Buckeyes look good as their leading scorer, Kaleb Wesson, kept getting himself in foul trouble, and they had no where else to go to score the ball. For Ohio State to make the NCAA Tournament in March, it will be important to find someone other than Wesson to step up.

Whether that be senior C.J. Jackson or freshman Luther Mohammed, the Buckeyes need change and fast.
