The Iowa Hawkeyes had a rough start to week 9 losing a game to Purdue that felt like they were never really in the game. But they rebounded nicely with a 9 point win over Nebraska, one in which Iowa scored 93 points and look great for the first time in Big Ten play.

That being said, the Hawkeyes have plenty of ground to make up in the Big Ten as they currently sit at 1-3 in the conference.

Nebraska’s James Palmer Jr. played well in the game against Maryland this past Wednesday but it was not enough as the Terrapins came out on top 74-72. The Cornhuskers had a shot to win it at the end but the attempt fell short.

Then Nebraska suffered yet another tough loss to Iowa to fall to 1-3 in the Big Ten. Not a great week and this comes as a disappointment for the Cornhusker faithful as a strong non conference performance has only warranted a 1-3 start in the Big Ten.

Nebraska hopes to start week 10 off better against Penn State on Thursday.
