Ohio State Basketball: Week 9 Big Ten power rankings

It is easy to see why experts are so high on Carsen Edwards. Not only is he a fantastic scorer for the Boilermakers, averaging 25.5 points per game on the season, but he is a great point guard for a Purdue team that seems to finally be finding its footing after basically controlling the entire game against Iowa this past Thursday.

The Boilermakers defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes by a score of 86-70 and got an important 2nd Big Ten win. Purdue now looks to a looming match up with the Michigan State Spartans next week.

Wisconsin had a rough start to week 9 with a loss to Minnesota but rebounded nicely with a blowout victory over Penn State. The Badgers looked more like the team that we saw early in the season rather than the one we saw lose back to back games to both Western Kentucky and Minnesota.

Wisconsin is now 3-1 in the Big Ten and is still in good position to make it a great Big Ten season.
