The Indiana Hoosiers saw their first conference action since last month end in their 3rd conference win to the season. Having struggled quite a bit in the first half as they trailed last place Illinois for much of the first half, the stud freshman Romeo Langford came through with some clutch buckets and eventually ended up with 28 points in the 73-65 win over the Illini.

Indiana ended up going 1-1 on the week after an 11 point road loss to Michigan. However, the Hoosiers stayed steady at number 3 in the rankings, because in all reality who hasn’t struggled with the Wolverines this season?

The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered a bitter nine point loss to Michigan State at home in their only game of week 9 but there were some positives that came out of the defeat. Kaleb Wesson played fantastic scoring 25 points despite being in foul trouble for much of the second half.

When Wesson was out the offense didn’t feel quite the same and that is something that the young Ohio State squad will need to work on as they look to rebound against Rutgers on Tuesday,  and then in a trip to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.
