Iowa stays steady at number seven after week 8, but that wasn’t without a scare in their final non conference game against Bryant. Iowa was able to pull out a five point win over a Bryant team that is just 3-8 at this point in the season.

That being said though, the Hawkeyes still finished perfect in non conference play with their only two losses coming in the early Big Ten games. This is a good Iowa team that played two good Big Ten teams to start to season.

Iowa will look to turn their Big Ten season around on Thursday against Purdue.

Wisconsin is our biggest faller in week 8 after suffering a huge upset at the hands of Western Kentucky. I still think this Badger team is talented but were just tripped up by an inspired Western Kentucky team that shot 40% from three.

This is a tough loss but the Badgers have a lot of season ahead of them and already have a great start in the Big Ten as they won both of their early games. They will go for their third win against 11-2 Minnesota on Thursday.
