The Northwestern Wildcats didn’t start out the Big Ten season the way they would have liked but it wasn’t because they didn’t play well. They gave the Michigan Wolverines their closest game of the season falling by just two points, and only lost to now ranked Indiana by 2 points.

Vic Law has led the Wildcats this season with 18.5 points this season and looks to lead them to victory against Chicago State this upcoming Monday.

Much like Northwestern, Penn State played both Maryland and Indiana close in Big Ten Conference play but could not come out on top in either game. The Nittany Lions are 5-4 with a huge victory over Virginia Tech earlier in the season that could help them come March.

Penn State has another tough one this Saturday against NC State.
