It’s odd to move up a team up in the rankings because of a loss but that is definitely the case here for the Badgers as they fought hard with a fourth ranked Virginia team and lost 53-46. Even with the loss Wisconsin blew out both Oklahoma and Stanford in what was a successful week for them.

Carsen Edwards is an elite player and has continued to prove it every game so far this season. He dropped 19 points in a 38 point win over Robert Morris this past week and he averages about 25.3 points per game which is good for 9th nationally.

Purdue is always going to be a tough out with Matt Painter at the helm but Edwards is going to make the Boilermakers an especially difficult team to beat this season.
