Ohio State Football: Picking against the spread week 12

I hope my picks against the spread are better this week than last and I also hope I can finally pick an Ohio State football game correctly.

I seriously believe I will pick this week’s Ohio State football game correctly and I think at least one top ten team may get upset.

Also, the three SEC teams practically have byes but I will still pick those games.

My record now stands at 41-41-2 for the season but I think I will get back above .500 this week.

Here are my week 12 picks. Point spreads are from Bovada.

Alabama (1) by 52 over The Citadel:  I said last week I’m not betting against Alabama again. I’ll take the Tide and lay the points.

Clemson (2) by 29.5 over Duke:  I see Clemson getting out to a big lead and Dabo resting his starters so I will take Duke and the points.

Notre Dame (3) by 10 over Syracuse:  I think this is a possible upset so I’ll take Syracuse and the points.

Michigan (4) by 28 over Indiana:  I don’t like this spread at all. I think Indiana could give Michigan problems for a half so I’ll take the Hoosiers and the points.

Georgia (5) by 41 over Massachusetts:  Seriously? Georgia’s third string is better than the Massachusetts starters. I’ll take the Bulldogs and lay the points.

Oklahoma (6) by 34.5 over Kansas:  If the Sooners don’t win by 40 or more they should fall out of the top ten. I’ll pick Oklahoma to cover.

LSU (7) by 42 over Rice:  Can LSU even score 6 touchdowns? I’ll take Rice and the points.

Washington State (8) by 11 over Arizona:  I’m not sold on Washington State. I’m not calling for an upset but it could be one so I’ll take Arizona and the points.

West Virginia (9) by 6.5 over Oklahoma State:  The way Oklahoma State played against Oklahoma this could be an upset. I’ll take the Cowboys and the points.

Ohio State (10) by 14 over Maryland:  I will finally pick an Ohio State game correctly. The Buckeyes cover.
