The Ohio State football team defeated the Michigan State Spartans by 20 points last Saturday. so where do the Buckeyes rank in this week’s power rankings.

Week 11 of the College Football season is over and it’s on to Week 12. The top ten did not endure a huge shake up this week as there were no upsets.

That doesn’t mean that there weren’t some scares throughout the week though. Clemson finally looked human against Boston College, Ohio State looked better in a wild game in East Lansing, and Oklahoma had a scare against their rival Oklahoma State.

There is a lot to talk about from week 11 so let’s get started!

10. UCF

Ranking Last Week: 10

Week 11 Result: Win vs. Navy 35-24

Upcoming Week: Home vs. Cincinnati

UCF has its biggest match up of the season with a home contest against the 24th ranked Cincinnati Bearcats led by former Ohio State Defensive Coordinator Luke Fickell.

The Knights have not looked the sharpest in the last few weeks as they have received close wins over lackluster opponents that include a 2-8 Navy team last weekend, a  4-3 Temple team in which they gave up 670 total yards to, and to a Memphis team that is 1-3 in the American conference.

If the Knights want any hope at keeping their position in these rankings, they need a strong showing at home against the Bearcats.

9. LSU

Ranking Last Week: 7

Week 11 Result: Win @ Arkansas 24-17

Upcoming Week: Home vs. Rice

I debated pushing LSU back last week after the shut out loss but it was Alabama so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Last weeks close win against Arkansas though tipped the scales for me as Arkansas is in the midst of a terrible 2-8 season and the Tigers barely scraped by.

It hurts me to say it but Joey Burrow is just not getting the job done for the Tigers as the offense is struggling to get going. LSU gets the annual SEC bye week before the last game of the season with a contest against Rice at home so they should get a tune up before their final regular season match up versus Texas A&M.
