Wisconsin at Penn State

The Badgers entered the season with high aspirations, but are fighting just to maintain relevancy in the Big Ten West.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a major beat down at Michigan, their third loss in the division.

Neither team is special and winning this game means nothing more than bowl game placement.

For Penn State, it comes down to Trace McSorley’s health.  His knee injury rendered him ineffective against Michigan last week.  If he’s hobbled, the Badgers should be able to keep the game close.

Penn State’s defense, normally stout against the run, is ranked No. 78 allowing 172.2 yards-per-game.

It will have its hands full trying to stop Jonathan Taylor who leads the Big Ten with 1363 yards and 11 touchdowns this year.

Taylor will get his yards, but I think Penn State keeps him in check most of the game.  Nittany Lions win a close game 23-20.
