The Ohio State football team is heading to East Lansing for a big game against Michigan State. I’ll have a prediction for that game and the other Big Ten games in week 11.

Every week I provide my predictions on the Ohio State football game and the other Big Ten games on tap. Last week I finished 5-2.  I am 60-24 on the year.

Here are my week 11 predictions:

Ohio State at Michigan State

The College Football Playoff Invitational Committee looked at Ohio State’s body of work and ranked it No. 10 for the second week in a row.

Many have groaned about the ranking, but it is probably right given the way Ohio State has been playing.

The Buckeyes have all the talent to be a Top 4 team, but something is off.  Scheme, injuries, off the field distractions and lack of physicality are issues plaguing the team.

Despite their issues, the team can still attain its goals. Standing in the way this week is old nemesis Michigan State.

Mark Dantonio is the only Big Ten coach to beat Urban Meyer two times. Can he get a third?

Dantonio is a gritty coach and he’ll try to hit the Buckeyes to test their resolve.

Are they up to the challenge?

I don’t think you can just flip a switch on a season and suddenly become a physical team. The Buckeyes succumb to the pressure and lose a close game. Spartans win 24-20.
