2. Ohio State

I find it funny how a large majority of Buckeye fans might disagree with this.

Yes, the defense has been shaky this season and that is an area of concern but the simple fact of the matter is that they are winning games.

Similar to Alabama except for the fact that the Crimson Tide just absolutely obliterates whoever they play.

What is different about Ohio State though is strength of schedule. According to TeamRankings.com, the Buckeyes rank 6th in the nation in SOS.

To add to this, Ohio State is second only behind Alabama in scoring margin and total yards per game. The Buckeyes are second in the nation in passing yards as well.

Finally, Ohio State is 21st in the nation in points allowed. That means while the defense might not be up to Buckeye standards, it is still better than most.

When you add that to one of the best offenses in the country you have yourselves the second best team in the nation.

Take a deep breath Buckeye fans, it isn’t as bad as it seems.
