Purdue at Illinois

This is an interesting game. Purdue has rebounded from a disastrous start and Illinois has been steady.

The winner has an outside shot at third place in the West should Northwestern struggle.

The outcome boils down to which team can take advantage of the other team’s weakness more effectively.

Purdue likes to throw and Illinois can’t defend the pass. Illinois likes to run and Purdue does not stop the run.

The Boilermakers are favored, but I think I am going with the home dog in a minor upset. Illinois gets a late interception to seal the win, 28-24.
