Michigan State at Penn State

It is bizarro world in East Lansing.

If I said five games into the season that the Spartans’ defense was No. 1 in the FBS in stopping the run allowing 33.8 rushing yards-per-game, would you guess they were 3-2?

The problem is the secondary is getting carved for 305.2 yards-per-game.  That’s almost unimaginable for a Mark Dantonio team.

Think Trace McSorley is ready after a week off?

Offensively, the Spartans are the exact opposite.  They can’t run the ball, but they are passing for 266.8 yards-per-game.

The offensive line is a mess and Penn State’s defensive line will capitalize.

The Nittany Lions will rebound from the loss to Ohio State by thumping the Spartans 38-20.
