8. Vonn Bell

Ranking Last Week: 10

Week 5: 7 Tackles | 1 Assist | 1 TFL | 1 Pass Defended

Season: 20 Tackles | 6 Assists | 1 TFL | 2 Passes Defended

Vonn bell made his first appearance in the rankings last week coming in at No.10. I am happy to report that he had another great week for the Saints. His stats, 7 tackles, 1 for a loss, and a pass defended.

Bell continues to perform for a Saints defense that has vastly improved since they were blasted in week one by the Buccaneers. Now the Saints have rattled off four straight wins and Vonn Bell has a lot to with that.

7. Jerome Baker

Ranking Last Week: 9

Week 5: 6 Tackles | 1 Assist | 2 Sacks

Season: 24 Tackles | 10 Assists | 2 Sacks

Jerome Baker continues to get better and better for a Miami Dolphins defense that held the Bengals scoreless in the first half of their game in week 5. He racked up 6 tackles and sacked the quarterback twice, getting the first sacks in his career.

With those two sacks Baker, is now third among rookies in that department and second among rookie linebackers. Baker’s speed is definitely impacting that Dolphins defense in a good way.
