6. Carlos Hyde

Week 4: 22 Carries | 82 Yards | 3.7 Y/C | 1 TD

Season: 83 Carries | 285 Yards | 5 TDs | 3.4 Y/C

Carlos Hyde has scored at least 1 touchdown every week do far this season. His total of five rushing touchdowns is tied with Alvin Kamara for the NFL lead. Hyde is a very powerful runner that has some sneaky play.

Some people might be worried that Nick Chubb’s big day for the Browns will start to take away carries from Hyde. It might take away some carries but with that it might take a bit of a load off of Hyde’s shoulders. And playing them in the backfield together, with Chubb’s speed and Hyde’s power, they could be lethal combo.

5. Malcom Jenkins

Week 4: 5 Tackles | 2 Assists | 2 TFL | 1 Pass Defended

Season: 15 Tackles | 4 Assists | 2 TFL | 1 FF | 2 Pass Defended

I have said it in both of the rankings prior to this one, Malcom Jenkins is a special player on a special Philadelphia defense. He was a huge reason why they won the Super Bowl last year.

Jenkins is a leader on a defense that is looked at as one of the best in the NFL. He ranks tied for third in tackles on an Eagles team that is 10th in the NFL in total yards given up and first in rushing defense.

In the most recent game against the Titans he had two tackles for losses including a big tackle on the monster Derrick Henry. There are not a lot of safety’s that have the will or the ability to be able to tackle a 6’3, 238 pound running back in the backfield.
