Q: [Will] OSU rise to another level [of] effort and execution when Urban Meyer returns to the sidelines?

A: The Buckeyes, players and coaches alike, know the expectations of the program that coach Meyer has built since taking over the reigns in 2012. The standard is excellence and the expectation is elite.

All of the players and coaches have been trained for these times of adverse situations and how to respond which they have clearly done. They do not look like they have skipped a beat because they are trusting their training and preparation for battle.

When Urban Meyer returns to the sideline next week, his game day intensity will undoubtedly strengthen the performance of the Buckeyes. However, Ryan Day and the rest of the staff, in a cohesive effort, have done a phenomenal job keeping the team focused on the mission at hand while performing at one of the highest levels we have ever seen Buckeye football.

Urban Meyer’s full reinstatement will unleash shock waves throughout Columbus and around the nation as Ohio State will have an angry football coach on a revenge tour. We all know how that worked out last time.
