Ohio State will take on TCU this Saturday. I will make my prediction on that marquee game and others involving Big Ten teams as well.

Every week I will provide my predictions for the slate of Big Ten games. Last week I finished 8-5. Not a good week.

The games are not quite as interesting as week two, but No. 4 Ohio State vs. No. 15 TCU is the featured game of the week in the FBS.

Here are my predictions:

Ohio State at TCU

The game Buckeye Nation has been anxiously waiting to see.  With two warm up games in the books, the Buckeyes finally head to Dallas for their signature non-conference game.

An interesting back story is TCU’s grudge against Ohio State for being leapfrogged to make the 2014 College Football Playoff Invitational.

Few players remain on either team from four years ago so this comes down to Gary Patterson’s motivation for a little payback.

It is not the Buckeyes fault the Committee selected them, but Patterson can make a statement with a win that his program is on equal footing.

That will only go so far. This game comes down to which defense can slow down the other offense more effectively.

For the Silver Bullets, that means containing dual-threat quarterback Shaun Robinson and his fast receivers Jaelan Austin, KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Reagor.

We’re going to find out how improved the linebackers are from a year ago and see if the young secondary is up to the challenge.

I expect them to bend a little, but pass the test leading the team to a critical win.  Ohio State 40-24.
