Western Michigan at Michigan

The Wolverines fell flat against the Fighting Irish last week, but the defense showed its capabilities. The problem is they’ll die out again if the offense continues to sputter.

The Broncos lost a shootout against Syracuse last week.  They have some skills that can fly.  It won’t be enough to do any damage.

Michigan rebounds with a comfortable win 41-10.

New Mexico at Wisconsin

Wake me when the Badgers play a team with a pulse.  Wisconsin 54-7.

Fresno State at Minnesota

The Golden Gophers opened with a nice win over New Mexico State.  Fresno will be a much better gauge of where Minnesota is under PJ Fleck.

The Bulldogs won 10 games last year under Jeff Tedford and he has an experienced team back for 2018. They thumped Idaho last week 79-13.

This will be a tight game. I am calling the upset.  Fresno State 35-31.
