Iowa State at Iowa

The fight for the Cy-Hawk Trophy should be a good one.

The Hawkeyes have won seven out of the last 10 games, but the Cyclones were not a competitive program for five years.

They are now under Matt Campbell, a rising star in the coaching ranks.

Iowa’s win over Northern Illinois surprised me. I know it is a MAC team, but that is normally the type of game Iowa struggles to win.

Iowa State’s game was cancelled last week due to weather.

The Cyclones lost five games in 2017 by a combined 25 points. This is a sleeper team in the Big12.

The Hawkeyes defense is the key to this game. If it plays like it did last week, the Hawkeyes will win.

Scoring will be a low. Iowa wins 20-17
