To get a glimpse of the future, check out the Army All-American Bowl. As usual, there will be a few commits to the Ohio State recruiting class on the field.

Another member of the 2019 Ohio State recruiting class will be playing in this year’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Steele Chambers will be joining four other Ohio State commits in the prestigious high school All-Star game.

Andrew Lind of Eleven Warriors reported that Chambers will be joining Harry Miller, Doug Nester and Ronnie Hickman on the East squad and Garrett Wilson will be playing for the West.

Mr. Lind also pointed out the fact Ohio State has had more commits play in the Army All-American Bowl than any other university each of the last three years. 5 of the 14 commits in this year’s Ohio State recruiting class are committed to play so far.

Chambers is ranked the 16th best athlete in the country and the No. 243 player overall in the 247Sports Composite. Some think he will play linebacker at Ohio State.

However, if you check out his highlights, you will understand this 6-2, 215 pound guy will be carrying the football in college. With his size, speed, athleticism and drive he could become a special running back.

More from Ohio State Buckeyes

The Buckeyes will be well represented on the offensive line. Miller is the No. 2 ranked center in the country and Nester is the No. 2 offensive guard. I hope both will be on the field at the same time blocking for Chambers.

It could be a preview of things to come.

“Rocket” Ronnie Hickman is ranked the No. 10 athlete in the country and is projected to play safety for Ohio State.

Wilson is ranked the 2nd best wide receiver in the country and the No. 14 overall player. I can’t wait to see this guy run pass patterns.

Those are the Ohio State commits invited to play in the Army All-American Bowl so far. I’m sure there will be more invites on the way as the 2018 Ohio State recruiting class fills up.
