2 years ago, Dwayne Haskins was one of the most sought after quarterbacks in the country. The gunslinger from Potomac, Maryland saw his first playing time against Army, but the sample size was too small for us to know his actual talent level.

But on Saturday he played more than half the game against UNLV and put up solid numbers. Haskins completed 15 of 23 passes for 228 yards, 2 touchdowns, but threw an interception as well.

Having watched the game, the young QB looked absolutely outstanding. Haskins threw bullets for completions into tight windows.

Haskins was able to find his receivers no matter where they were on the field. The young QB looked extremely impressive on Saturday and should continue to improve under Ryan Day.

Hopefully to the point where he can step in next season and replace JT Barrett, and possibly perform even better.
