Those players you want on your college fantasy football team this week and others you don’t.

With The college football season arriving that also means college fantasy football is back. Sadly, the run of daily fantasy football at the college level has ended. However, with more and more sites offering year-long college leagues, the fantasy football world is booming.

Since there are no daily games available for us CFB fans throughout this season, personally I will be playing in a league through Fantrax, which I highly recommend. To help anyone out who’s struggling with who to play, I will write weekly on the players to start and sit each week of the season.

Must Starts

Most league seasons start today and week one can be tough in any level of fantasy football because many players are simple unproven. However, with many Power 5 teams playing non conference games in the early weeks there is no excuse to not rack up on points at the QB, RB, and WR positions. Here are 3 guys, who may not have a locked starting spot on your team, but should absolutely start week 1.

Courtland Sutton- SMU

Southern Methodist has a week one matchup against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks, an FCS opponent who just isn’t going to be able to hold their ground against SMU’s offense. Courtland Sutton will likely be getting 10-15 touches and I predict he will have a three touchdown day. Sutton is headed into his senior year and will likely run up his career stats before the seasons over, and I like a chunk of that week one. This Mustang is a must start.
