Brian Snead is 5-11, 200 pounds and ranked as the 4th best running back and the No. 87 player overall in the 247Sports Composite.

Snead ran for 2,128 yards during his sophomore and junior seasons, per MaxPreps.com, and averaged over 7 yards per carry each year. He also caught 25 passes for 337 yards.

What impresses me about Snead is how he accelerates whether running inside or outside. Many players can do so in space but not all can when running between the tackles.

One of Ezekiel Elliott’s talents is seeing a hole opening in the middle and getting to the next level quickly. If he makes a guy miss, or breaks a tackle, it’s off to the races.

I see those same traits in Snead, at least at the high school level. And like Zeke, he doesn’t seem to mind putting his head down to run over a defender or throw a block for a teammate.

Master Teague is 5-11, 210 pounds and considered the 19th best running back and the No. 379 player overall in the 247Sports Composite. Don’t let the rankings fool you, he may be the fastest running back in the nation.

Teague was already on Urban Meyer’s radar before he went to a camp in Alabama, and his performance there really got the Buckeye head coach’s attention.

It was reported by Patrick Mayhorn of Land Grant Holy Land that Teague was clocked at 4.31 in the 40 in Tuscaloosa, and then had a similar time in front of Urban Meyer a few days later. And everyone knows the importance the Buckeye head coach puts on speed. Offer extended and accepted.

And the speedster knows how to run with the football in his hands as well. As reported by MaxPreps.com, last season Teague rushed for 2,031 yards and 24 touchdowns. And his longest run was for 93 yards.

These backfield mates in the 2018 Ohio State recruiting class are impressive to say the least. But now let’s look at the fourth player who most college coaches would trade their top recruit for if they could.
