2008

  • Walter Offutt  Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Anthony Crater  Wolfeboro, New Hampshire
  • B.J. Mullens  Winchester, Ohio
  • William Buford  Toledo, Ohio
  • Nikola Kecman  Thatcher, Arizona

Not necessarily an outstanding overall recruiting class, but two Ohio recruits were impact players.

B.J. Mullens was named the Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year as he was a key player in getting the Buckeyes back to the NCAA Tournament. He then entered the NBA draft to become coach Matta’s third consecutive seven footer to do so.

William Buford went on to become an outstanding player for the Buckeyes. Teaming with players from the 2007 class and the one I am about to mention, Buford enjoyed a ton of success in his time at Ohio State.

The 2010 Ohio State recruiting class was special to say the least.
