Ohio State Football: More Awards and Future Buckeyes in U.S. Army Bowl
Ohio State recruits continue to rack up the awards following their sensational senior seasons. Shaun Wade and Wyatt Davis were honored in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Awards ceremony and Tate Martell won National Player of the Year honors by yet another organization.
Wade was named the Lockheed Martin Defensive Back of the year. Davis won the Glenn Davis Award for excellence on and off the field.
Martell won the MaxPreps National Player of the Year earlier this week. That makes the third such honor as he was previously named the top player in the nation by both USA Today and Gatorade.
You can watch all three players today in the U.S. Army Bowl at 1:00 on NBC.
Here are future Ohio State players, and others who may become part of the recruiting class, along with some info on bowl practices as reported by BuckeyeSports.

Tate Martell won best QB of day one.
"Sharp throughout, the Ohio State commit was crisp with his throws and spun it well all morning. We were impressed by his footwork — Martell’s mechanics in the lower body are organized and efficient. The No. 2 dual-threat QB in the 247Sports Composite was the same consistent guy in every drill and setting."
Browning performing well.
"Baron Browning, LB – Some of the linebackers were edge guys trying to play in the middle some were inside backers trying to play in space. Browning was the guy that could do it all. Linebackers don’t typically flash on day one but Browning, an Ohio State commit, still looked unique.More from Scarlet and GameOhio State Football: How Denzel Burke has bounced back so far this seasonOhio State basketball: Buckeyes conference schedule is setOhio State Football rolling into form at the perfect timeHow Ohio State football has done historically versus new Big 12Ohio State Football: We need to see “Killer Ryan Day” at South BendJeffrey Okudah, Darnay Holmes and Bubba Bolden. are supposed to announce their college decision during the game and the Buckeyes are in play for all three.Okudah is a strong Ohio State lean, and some think Holmes may now be leaning towards playing for the Buckeyes.
