Look Ahead Match Ups:

The Big Ten embarks on its inaugural nine-game season this week and here are the best match ups:

Corey Clement vs. L.J. Scott

Big Ten fans don’t have to wait long to watch a separation game as Wisconsin travels to Michigan State.  It is beyond me why the kickoff for this game is at 12 PM ET.  This should be a night game.

Wisdom says that the team that passes the ball the best will win.  After all, the Spartans are No. 8 in the FBS allowing 72 yards per game on the ground and the Badgers are No. 13 allowing 82 yards-per-game.

I don’t buy it.  Both offenses feed off the run and it will be fun to see which team can get the running game established.  Chryst and coach Mark Dantonio are both stubborn too.  They’ll keep plugging away until they find a way to run the ball effectively.

Clement returns after sitting out the Georgia State game with an ankle injury.  Wisconsin’s offense sputtered without him last week so expect him to be a large part of the plan on Saturday.

Scott is looking to build on his performance against the Fighting Irish.  He’s going against a defense that largely contained Leonard Fournette so the task is massive.

Spartans win a tight one 28-24.
