We looked over the potential of the college fantasy quarterbacks and now it’s time to place the focus on the running backs. Much like the quarterbacks, the top of this list should be pretty predictable but hopefully we sprinkle some unique selections in here as well. Unlike the pro game, running backs take a backseat to the QB. With that said selecting the right back is vital for your fantasy team’s success and finding a versatile weapon that catches and runs with the rock will get you the most points.

1. Christian McCaffrey, Stanford: His statistics read with 2,019 rushing yards, 45 receptions, and 645 receiving yards. Let’s also not forget his kick return touchdown, punt return touchdown, and two touchdown passes. Can he top those numbers? All signs point to yes, with head coach David Shaw saying that he plans to expand the playbook and place McCaffrey all over the field to make sure he is in space and has the ball in his hands.
