2. Patrick Mahomes II, Texas Tech: Arguably the best athlete in college football. Mahomes is another dual-threat weapon that puts the team on his back. Last season he was the Big 12 leader with 4,653 yards and was tied for first with 36 touchdowns.

If Mahomes can maintain the 393 yards per game he averaged last season, than he will be a nice consolation prize for whoever missed out on Watson.
