Donnel Pumphrey, San Diego St., 5-9, 180 lbs., Sr.: Marshall Faulk needs to watch his back because Pumphrey has 4,272 rushing yards and he should break Faulk’s school record (4,589) within the first couple of games. Pumphrey runs more powerful than his size indicates and the guy is a machine when it comes to moving the chains.

He led the Mountain West with 1,653 rushing yards last season and all signs to him surpassing that number in 2016.
