Ohio State Recruiting: Your 2016 Buckeyes Class
By Dillon Davis
Jack Wohlabaugh- Walsh Jesuit (Stow, OH)
Size: 6’3″- 280 lbs.
Position: OG (#19 OG, 3 stars)
Wohlabaugh committed to the Buckeyes on the spot, upon receiving his offer. That offer came on his visit to the Buckeyes for their spring game, April 18th of this past year.
He has previously visited Michigan and Michigan State, but it was always the Ohio State offer that he was waiting for. He wasted no time in jumping on the offer.
He is the second guard in the class, joining Tyler Gerald.
With the offensive line haul Urban Meyer has brought in in the past two years, Wohlabaugh will have is work cut out for him in order to find playing time.
But his coaches rave about his work ethic, and combined with his leadership qualities, he has the intangibles to come in and earn favor with the coaching staff.
Wohlabaugh picked the Buckeyes over offers from Michigan, Kentucky, Boston College, and Syracuse. His dad played at Syracuse before spending 9 years in the NFL.
