Binjimen Victor- Coconut Creek (Pompano Beach, FL)

Size: 6’4″- 177 lbs.

Position: WR (#12 WR, 4 stars)

For the longest time, all signs pointed to Victor staying within the state of Florida. He was originally expected to announce his decision this past June, and he was going to be a Gator.

The Buckeyes were able to convince him to take a visit before that decision, and it went well enough that Victor delayed his decision.

Florida’s class continued to fill up with wide receivers, and Ohio State missed out on their remaining big target in Donnie Corley.

Despite late pushes from Tennessee and West Virginia, Zach Smith was able to seal the deal on a visit shortly after the dead period ended.

The Buckeyes are getting a player who has the potential to be the most dominating player on the field, but will be raw when he first gets on campus.

His size is exactly what Ohio State has needed, and lacked, out of their wide receiver group. His biggest task is going to be getting stronger as he has been held in check by more physical corners in high school.

The pair of Victor and Mack represent quite the haul of receivers for Zach Smith. Mack is more ready to contribute early, and he is already on campus. Victor might have even more upside, though, but it could take a year of adding strength and polishing his route running to really start to tap into the wealth of potential.

With the lack of proven playmakers outside, it is impossible to rule Victor out as a contributor this season, although he will more than likely redshirt. Regardless of when he breaks through, Victor is going to be a good one, granted he stays healthy and on the field.
