Position: OT (#40 OT, 3 stars)
Gavin Cupp’s dream was always to be a Buckeye, but for the longest time in his recruitment, it appeared that dream wasn’t going to become a reality.
Without an Ohio State offer, Cupp committed to Michigan State last May. Oho State already three offensive linemen committed to their class, and it appeared they would not take any more. But Cupp’s decision to attend Friday Night Lights changed everything.
Mark Dantonio and the Spartan staff were not aware of Cupp’s decision to attend the camp, although Cupp had said that he attempted to let them know, but was not able to reach them. As a result, Michigan State retracted their scholarship offer and moved on. It left Cupp’s future uncertain, but just five days later, he received the news he coveted in the first place.
He committed to the Buckeyes the very moment he learned of the offer, although he waited a little longer to make it public.

He is capable of playing every position along the line, and his versatility could make him very valuable down the line. He has a college-ready body already, and has a work ethic that will allow him adapt well to them major leap in talent around him.
