#4 2010 Rose Bowl

Ohio State’s 2010 Rose Bowl game was its first trip to Pasadena since the 1997 game against Arizona State. Leading up to the game, the national media was pushing the idea that Ohio State would not be able to match the speedy Oregon Duck offense, who were the most up-tempo team in the nation.

The Buckeyes put this idea to rest by winning at the line of scrimmage and having a bit of their own speed too. Terrelle Pryor was named offensive MVP after he torched the Ducks with both his arms and legs.

This game a big game not only because of how well the Buckeyes contained Oregon and Jeremiah Masoli, but also because it was Ohio State’s first bowl win after the embarrassing three-game bowl skid against Florida, LSU and Texas.
