Nightmare On Bourbon Street! Urban In, SEC Out
It is a strong possibility that we will see coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes in the College Football Playoffs this season attempting to win their second consecutive National Title. There is also a chance that none of the final four teams will be from the Southeastern Conference. That would be a nightmare for those on Bourbon Street, and the entire SEC as well.
The ironic thing about this scenario is the coach that the fans of the Southeastern Conference love to hate, Urban Meyer, and the team they think would not be at the top of their conference, Ohio State, could be part of the reason there will not be an SEC team in the final four.
But the other reason might be even more important in excluding the Southeastern Conference from being represented in the playoffs. It’s because of the Universities who put as much importance in academics as a player’s time in the 40 yard dash. Wouldn’t that be a nightmare for any SEC fan.
Let’s take a look at the possibilities.
