Defensive Secondary
Grade: B
The defense did a good job of controlling the passing the game with the exception of one play. The secondary got off to a bad start when they allowed a 52 yard touchdown pass on the opening drive. Overall they only allowed 133 yards through the air. Tyvis Powell had the secondary’s lone interception of the day in the 4th quarter.
Hill isn’t an excellent passer, but they certainly did a good job of keeping him in check. We’ll see how they do next week against Penn State’s Christen Hackenberg.
