Offensive Line

Grade: B+

The offensive line was able to put together a solid day. The Slobs were able to wear down Maryland’s front seven throughout the game which led to the Buckeyes 5 rushing touchdowns. They also did a great job of giving Cardale and J.T. time in the pocket.

Ohio State’s ability to convert in the redzone was one of the biggest takeaways of this game. While J.T. Barrett has a lot to do with that, you can’t overlook the big guys up front. Each of the Buckeyes redzone possessions ended in a touchdown. They did an excellent job of getting the push and creating the holes when they needed to.

The line did have a couple shaky moments, like the snap over the head of Barrett late in the 4th, but overall it was a solid day for the O-line.
