The corners didn’t allow many long passes, but they did allow a good amount of completions. Virginia Tech quarterbacks were a combined 15 for 25  for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns. That’s not good considering the talent Virginia Tech has at quarterback. You can’t cover like that against teams like Michigan State and expect to win.
