Leonte Carroo
Senior, Rutgers
Carroo had the most yards (1086) this past season out of the returning receivers. He figures to be the go-to guy in the Scarlet Knight offense this year. There was a lot of speculation that Carroo would leave after his junior year to go pro, but he quickly shut that down in the locker room at the end of the year by announcing his return directly to his teammates.
Leonte is also one of the more motivated guys in the entire conference. “A lot of coaches, I guess, did disrespect me last year by not making me first team All-Big Ten,” Carroo told NJ.com. “But I guess that’s how they felt, and I’m okay with that because I’m going to show them this year. I can’t wait to see the smile on all their faces after I’m done torching their team. I can’t wait.”
