Final Score: Ohio State football team 48, Maryland 13

This is a game that Ohio State can’t afford to overlook. They definitely need to be on upset alert for this one, and not looking over their shoulder toward the Michigan game. As long as the Buckeyes come into this game focused, Ohio State should cruise.

This Maryland team, while competent and played Michigan tough earlier in the year, have not played very well as this season has moved along. That really showed up last week as Penn State cleaned Maryland’s clock in Happy Valley.

If ever there was a game to get this game under control early and get the starters out of there in the third quarter, it’s this one. The Buckeyes need to be as healthy as possible for Michigan next week.

Look for the Bucks to come out to a hot start. Stroud and company will do their thing in the passing game as Ohio State will be up by four touchdowns by halftime. I really want to believe that Ohio State is focused on avenging how last season went for them. That will include taking care of business on Saturday to ensure that they’re at full go for next weekend.
