Ohio State continues its winning ways.

The Ohio State defense makes it four straight games with a touchdown

For a unit that has been the biggest question mark in Columbus, the defense can sure find the endzone. Scoring a defensive touchdown in three straight games, Ohio State comes into their matchup with Maryland looking improved.

After giving up seven turnovers last week, Maryland might try to force the ball a little bit to make up for their mistakes, which plays perfectly for Ohio State. The Buckeyes will be able to extend their touchdown streak to four games.

Ohio State wins and covers the spread

The only way I don’t see Ohio State covering their spread this week is if Maryland is able to get a late backdoor cover. I see the defense being too hungry to let in too many points, even after the backups come in the game, and the offense is going to score in bunches. The Buckeyes will be able to rest their starters in the second half, get some experience for the younger guys, and walk away with another win in Big Ten play.
