No. 3: Ohio State 45, Maryland 21

This Maryland team actually has a backbone this season. With big wins over Minnesota and Penn State, this is no ‘gimme’ game for the Buckeyes. Maryland comes in with skyrocketed confidence after proving they were clearly the better team on the field last week against Penn State.

But this Ohio State team is just too good and head coach Ryan Day will preach all week long that this will be a four-quarter game.

Questions remain for Ohio State however as they must show improvement on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive coordinator Kerry Coombs has to find the right combination of players for both the secondary and defensive line, respectively.

On offense, can Master Teague finally start carrying the load after coming off his Achilles injury? Will the offensive line show improvement after a not-so-great effort against Rutgers last week?

All this remains to be seen but I expect a much more polished game from the Buckeyes in this one. Look for Teague to have a nice game running the ball and Olave and Wilson continue to get the bulk of the receptions in the passing game.
