Ohio State starts with a bang and an old “rivalry”

Nebraska

The two schools that can take the most credit for rescuing the Big Ten and restoring the season are Ohio State and Nebraska. So, it seems only fitting that these two schools get a chance to face each other in the opening week of the Big Ten season.

The Huskers are still trying to figure out who they are as a program, but with Adrian Martinez at quarterback, they always have some potential to trip up opponents. However, Ohio State has had all summer to get ready for their first game and I don’t see much of a chance for this game to be close. Welcome back to football!

@ Penn State

This was the game that was supposed to be a headliner of the college football season. Two top ten teams squaring off under the lights in a white-out in Happy Valley. Sadly, without fans, this game will lose a bit of its luster.

This should still be the most difficult game for the Buckeyes regardless of the environment they are playing in. Ohio State has better talent on paper and should come well prepared. Ohio State will have a lot of energy entering this game, and it seems with the loss of Micah Parsons, Penn State could be trending in the opposite direction.
