Baron Browning has always had some good potential. He is someone that Ohio State loves to bring in on pass-rushing downs. He had five sacks a year ago and should be able to surpass that total in 2020. His draft stock depends on that sack total.

Browning should get more snaps this season and should be able to parlay that into success. He is currently listed as a late second-round pick by most sites. With a big 2020, he might be able to sneak into the end of the first round.

Browning has all the tools to do so. He has good size at 6’2 240 and good speed to go with it. He does a really good job of getting around the edge on a pass rush. He also does a good job of defending outside runs, especially the option.

A bad season could see Browning tumble to the beginning of the fourth round. The only way that happens is if he gets hurt. In my view, he will be at worst a mid-third round pick. He has a lot of physical tools that scouts love so he could end up being a bargain.

Next. One quote could define Fields' time at Ohio State. dark

All of these guys have an opportunity to increase their draft stock with a good 2020. Increasing their draft stock would mean they played well, which means good things for the Buckeyes as a team. An Ohio State national championship certainly wouldn’t hurt their stock either.
