Because of the insane amount of former Ohio State DBs in the NFL, we’ll go down the list of these players and list just 2019 stats and 2020 projections.

2020 Projections: 50 total tackles, 5 pass deflections, 2 interceptions

Eli Apple, Carolina Panthers

2019 stats (New Orleans): 58 total tackles, 4 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble

2020 Projections: 55 total tackles, 3 pass deflections, 1 interception

Vonn Bell, Cincinnati Bengals

2019 stats (New Orleans): 89 total tackles, 5 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, 5 recoveries, 1 interception, 1.5 sacks

2020 Projections: 85 total tackles, 6 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, 2 recoveries, 2 interceptions

Denzel Ward, Cleveland Browns

2019 stats: 2 interceptions (1 returned for TD), 11 pass deflections, 44 total tackles

2020 Projections: 3 interceptions, 12 pass deflections, 55 total tackles

Jeffrey Okudah, Detroit Lions

If this cast of excellent defensive backs doesn’t show off the case for Ohio State as DBU, I don’t know what will.
