Linebackers

Jerome Baker, Miami Dolphins

Baker has been a tackling machine in Miami, going from 79 total tackles in 2018, to 126 last year, good for fourth-best in the AFC. Now without former Ohio State teammate Raekwon McMillan at the linebacker spot, Baker will have more responsibility. The addition of Kyle Van Noy from New England will be a big help as Baker now aims for a Pro Bowl appearance.

2020 Projections: 125 total tackles, 2 sacks, 5 TFLs

Raekwon McMillan, Las Vegas Raiders

While the aforementioned Baker has improved by nearly 30 tackles, McMillan has backtracked from 105 total tackles in his rookie season in 2018 to 72 last season. With a new home in Las Vegas, which has an average linebacker unit, expect McMillan’s numbers to be improved in 2020, though perhaps not quite to the heights he reached in his rookie season.

2020 Projections: 95 total tackles, 4 TFLs

Malik Harrison, Baltimore Ravens

Harrison will likely compete with Jake Ryan for starting time as a rookie. If he can break through and get the starting job, expect similar production to his 205 total tackles, 9 sacks, and 29 TFLs over his career at Ohio State.

2020 Projections: 40 total tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 sack
