Ohio State Football: Ranking the top 5 upcoming non conference games
No. 1: Alabama Crimson Tide, 2027 and 2028 seasons
This is the obvious No. 1 choice amongst all these games as these are arguably two of the top three programs in all of college football, and have been so for a while now. Again, like with Georgia, this series is a long way off and a lot can change, but as it stands today these two games could be the biggest regular-season games of the decade.
These two schools don’t meet often but we all know what happened the last time they did. Ohio State knocked off the Crimson Tide in the 2015 Sugar Bowl on its way to the National Championship as Ezekiel Elliot ran 85 yards through the heart of the south.
The biggest question of this game is whether or not Alabama head coach Nick Saban will still be in Tuscaloosa. He would b 75 years old during the 2027 season and one has to wonder if he would want to enjoy retirement beforehand.
But either way, these two programs should be just fine heading into this series as we may even get an early look at a national championship game preview for the respective seasons.
