Round 6

204.) New England Patriots- B.B. Landers DT, Ohio State

Landers seems like a prototypical New England rotational player. Excelling as a rotational defensive tackle with the Buckeyes, if Landers can carry that same mindset to the NFL he can have a solid career in the league.

211.) New York Jets- Jashon Cornell DT, Ohio State

The third defensive tackle for Ohio State comes off the board here as the Jets take a flyer on this powerful, run stuffing prospect. An excellent team leader, Cornell looks to latch on to the end of the Jets roster.

Round 7

227.) Miami Dolphins- Austin Mack WR, Ohio State

Mack had an excellent career while in Columbus and has very good route running abilities under the tutelage of former Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline. Mack would need to prove his worth on special teams to make a roster, much like he did early in his Ohio State career.

233.) Chicago Bears-  Brandon Bowen OT, Ohio State

A steady force at right tackle for this Ohio State offensive line last season, Bowen looks to grab a roster spot as a late round NFL draft pick.

dark. Next. No spring game gives new appreciation for it

With 14 Buckeye players drafted in this mock, let’s hope every Buckeye player finds a home in the upcoming NFL Draft next Thursday night.
