Maryland at Michigan State (-22)

Mike Locksley’s first season has been as bad as it can get.  Since beating Rutgers on October 5, Maryland has lost six-straight games by a combined score of 291-80.

Mark Dantonio’s hasn’t been much better, especially since he had 17 returning starters.  At least his team can get to 6-6 and become bowl eligible with a win against the Terps.

Neither team does anything particularly well, but the Spartans defense is far better.  Coupled with the snow and rain expected during the afternoon, this game will be ugly and low scoring.

Michigan State wins 13-3.

Rutgers at Penn State (-40.5)

Another week, another bloodbath for the Scarlet Knights.

The Nittany Lions get to 10 wins for the third time in four seasons. Penn State wins 51-7.
