Ohio State Football: Dwayne Haskins gets his first quality NFL Start
Michael Thomas | 8 receptions, 114 yards, TD
What else is there really to say about this guy at this point other than he is the best receiver in the game, and it’s not even close.
Michael Thomas is blowing all other NFL receivers out of the water in the two most important categories for receivers. He has 21 more receptions this year than any other wideout in the league and he is currently 148 yards ahead of Chris Godwin for the most receiving yards in the NFL.

How is Thomas doing this? He is doing it by catching virtually every ball thrown his way. Not only does he have the most targets in the NFL this season with 114, he’s caught 94 of those passes, good for a 82.5 percent catch rate.
All of those numbers I just mentioned are tops in the NFL this season.
Thomas continued his unbelievable stretch of good play this season last week against the Buccaneers too. He caught 8-of-10 passes thrown his way for 114 yards and a touchdown.
That marks the fourth game in a row that he has eclipsed the 100-yard mark, and the sixth time he has done it all season.
The guy is just freakishly good and no one is putting him in the MVP conversation. That is really a tragedy as receivers in the NFL continue to be underlooked. Thomas is the perfect example of that.
That will do it once again for the list of former Ohio State football players who showed out in the NFL. Check back again next week as we are within the final six weeks of the NFL season.
